Brook Whitaker Cook (born January 1, 1984) is a daughter, granddaughter, sister, wife and most importantly a mother.  She is best known for her adventurous spirit and her love of life.  If she could have one day to herself you would probably find her high up in the mountain tops, writing in her journal and taking in all the wondrous beauty around her.  On a normal day however you might find glances of her at the park with her kids or out on a walk, at the grocery store, in her kitchen making meals or cleaning up, in her backyard with her kids playing catch or in the mud and occasionally in the hammock.

Early Life              
Brook was born in Logan Utah and was the first baby born in Cache Valley in 1984 to proud parents, beautiful Bonnie Jill and bearded Frank Neil Whitaker.  She had a lively childhood, most of it outdoors.  The family moved from Cache Valley shortly after she was born to a suburb of Dallas Fort Worth TX where they spent the first few years of her life.  When she was four years old the Whitaker Family then moved to Bountiful UT where she spent the best years of her childhood life.  It was there that she truly learned what beauty was.  Living in Muller Park Canyon she loved watching the sunset over the Great Salt Lake from their deck, listening to thunder bounce between the mountains, sleep outs on the deck, long summer days, rollerblading, riding bikes and building forts. 


When Brook was 12 years old the family made a drastic move to Las Vegas NV.  This is where Brook spent the best years of her adolescent life.  Brook instantly made many new friends and learned all about city life.  Brook was very active through this time, playing all sorts of sports and learning what it meant to be a social butterfly.  She truly had a blessed life, and she knew it.


Soon after high school graduation she left in her little Subaru legacy packed with all her belongings and took the long road trip to Susanville CA where she would play volleyball for the college there.  The semester was full of very many adventures and fun.  That December she decided to transfer to USU in Logan UT.  It was there that she feel in love once again with the beauty this world has to offer.  She studied some, but mostly enjoyed life.  Shorty after sending in mission papers and receiving a call to the San Pablo Mission in the Philippians, she met and feel in Love with Martin Earl Cook.  They prayerfully decided to righteously turned down the call and accept another, equally as righteous.


The couple were married on December 10th 2005.  Nine Months  later they were blessed with a beautiful baby girl.  Audrie Rae Inez Cook was born on September 11, 2006.  The Small family was happy.  After a few moves, including Idaho Falls and Driggs ID, they ended up in Las Vegas NV in the spring of 2008. After a short time there, they were blessed with a Son.  Andrue Martin Cook.  Born to the family May 25, 2009.  The foursome was only that for a short 15 months before they were blessed with another beautiful baby girl.  Carlee Geneva Cook was born August 24, 2010. 


The Cook Family still resides in Las Vegas NV and love life to the fullest.  Taking trips to Lake Mead to play in the water or to play in the boats that Martin has made.  They often find themselves at Red Rock, MT Charleston or at a park.  There never was a happier family, who love life and each other.
