I am not a dweller
but in order to improve on who we are
we have to be aware of
our weaknesses, faults and FEARS.
So, When I was thinking about this post
I was having a hard time pin-pointing a fear.
Weird.
And after a few minuets of thought as I was picking up this morning,
I had a image come to my head.
A rubber band ball.
The title of the Ball would be
"Brook's fear of not amounting to her Potential"
There are a lot of parts that make up this ball,
and it is a mess.
One fear leads to another, and another to something else,
until finally it all boils down to not amounting to my potential.
A big ball of seemingly related fears that all feed off each other.
I am afraid of offending someone and of confrontation.
So, too often than I should
I stay quiet.
Which means I am not speaking up in times that I should,
thus hindering me from reaching my true potential
and my desire to make a difference in this world.
I am afraid to achieve
because I might make someone feel like
I think I am better than them. Which I DO NOT, at all
I love everyone and everyone has such great gifts to share...We all have so much to learn!
Again, those thoughts keep me from doing things I know I should,
and driving me away from my potential...
Catching on?
So yes, I am afraid of not reaching my true potential...
I think more of us have that fear than we even know.
Plato is quoted,saying
Be Kind; Everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.
We all are!

We all are!
So let's be NICE to each other! and HELP each other!
I know I have the ability to reach my potential,
I know you do too.
I am afraid I am not communicating this clearly... ;)

Here are some good quotes on the subject.
I like quotes.
"Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great."
~ When we treat man as he is, we make him worse than he is; when we treat him as if he already were what he potentially could be, we make him what he should be. ~
